Del. police break up party after shots fired

NEW CASTLE, Del. (AP) - April 20, 2009 It happened early Saturday at the Nur Shrine Temple hall on South Du Pont Highway.

Police spokeswoman Cpl. Angela Garnsey says shots were fired before and after troopers arrived, but they were "from an unknown suspect and weapon."

She says troopers dispersed the crowd but no arrests were made, no weapons were confiscated and there were no known injuries.
