Could Taylor be sacked on 'Dancing' tonight?

LOS ANGELES (AP) - April 21, 2009

Ty Murray dedicated his waltz to his wife, Jewel. He danced to Deana Carter's "Strawberry Wine" with his partner, and they got a standing ovation. Bruno Tonioli told Murray he'd just made a bigger comeback than Mickey Rourke. Both Wicks and Murray also participated in a group routine.

If Jewel had taken advice from Tom Bergeron before she signed up for "Dancing With The Stars," she might not have gotten injured and had to drop out. Bergeron says celebrities need to hit the gym prior to signing up for the show, or else their bodies won't be able to take the six to eight hours a day of dance training. Bergeron knows first hand how rigorous it is. He took part in dance rehearsals when he first started hosting the show. He says if you get core training "you get a sense of what your limitations are." He says "don't get go cold into six or eight hours of dance training" because it's "incredibly rigorous." Bergeron is out with an autobiography called "I'm Hosting As Fast As I Can."

Lawrence Taylor became a legend by sacking quarterbacks. But he's in danger of been sacked himself on "Dancing with the Stars." Taylor is the low man on the judges' scoreboard this week. But the judges did praise Taylor for his improvement on the dance floor. Head judge Len Goodman says he was shocked by how well Taylor performed the waltz.

Lil Kim continues to do well, even though she wasn't the high-scorer again this week. Last week she was the leader on the judges' score card.

Melissa Rycroft came oh-so-close to perfection. Her Argentine tango scored 29 points from the judges on "Dancing with the Stars" last night. She was just a point away from across-the-board perfect 10s.

Tonight, one celeb gets his or her dance card revoked.
