Police say the assault happened in recent months, but gave no specific date.
This investigation came to light after the victim was able to tell an adult Parson had touched her in an inappropriate manner, on multiple occasions, over a period of time.
The acts allegedly took place at Parson's home.
Parson was charged Tuesday with a single count of Continual Sexual Abuse of a Child (felony), seven counts of Unlawful Sexual Contact (felony), seven counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child (felony) and twelve counts of Offensive Touching (misdemeanor).
He was sent to the Howard Young Correctional Institute in lieu of $89,000.00.
Anyone who believes they too have fallen victim to Parson is asked to call investigators at 302-697-2104 ext. 309.
