Authorities say 22 students were aboard a school bus that crashed into a post office in south-central Pennsylvania. The accident happened around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday in Brogue as the bus was on its way to the York County School of Technology.

School spokeswoman Jean Parks says the bus was northbound on Route 74 when the bus collided with a pickup truck and ran through the front wall of the post office.

Parks says the bus driver was transported to York Hospital, but the driver's condition was not immediately known.

According to Parks, some students were released to their parents at the accident scene, while five others chose to go to school on another bus. They were checked out by a nurse and continued on to their classes.
