Gas main break prompts school evacuation

PALMYRA, N.J. - June 1, 2009 A construction crew working outside Palmyra High School struck the gas main.

The school was evacuated as a precaution and later students were sent home on an early dismissal at 10:00 a.m.

PSE&G crews resolved the leak shortly after the students were dismissed.

No injuries have been reported.
