Man seriously injured in fire

SOMERTON - June 17, 2009 Fire broke out just after 7:00 p.m. Wednesday night in the 11000 block of Dumont Road.

Heavy smoke was showing on the first floor of a 2 story house when firemen arrived.

The fire was under control within 20 minutes.

A 45-year-old man was taken to Frankford Hospital-Torresdale Division with second degree burns to more than 50 percent of his body.

He is listed in critical condition.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
