WILMINGTON, Del. - July 12, 2009 State police say 38-year-old Christine Simpson of Linwood, Pennsylvania, was driving drunk when she ran her car off the northbound lanes of I-495 in Wilmington.
She suffered minor injuries, and was placed under arrest.
Simpson's baby daughters were not hurt. The children are now in the custody of family services. An investigation and evaluation about what to do with Simpson's children is underway.
