7-11 robbed by man with shotgun

YEADON, Pa. - August 4, 2009 It happened at the store at 501 Church Lane around 2:14 a.m. on Sunday, August 2nd.

Police say the surveillance video shows two people in a dark colored SUV at the back of the store. The passenger is then seen leaving the vehicle, and entering the 7-11 with a shotgun.

The suspect then forces the clerk behind the counter and demands money from the cash register, striking the clerk several times with the weapon.

The man then fled the store with the money and got back in the SUV, which was last seen southbound in the 500 block of Holly Road.

The suspect is described as a black man in his mid 20's, 6'2" to 6'4", 250-270 pounds, a medium complexion with a beard and mustache.The man was wearing a black knit hat, a black t-shirt, long black shorts, high white socks and black sneakers.
