BETHLEHEM, Pa. - August 5, 2009 At around 5:47 p.m. along the 3500 block of New Hampshire Avenue in Bethlehem, Northampton County, 53-year-old Anthony Vacarro, a resident of the block, was doing yard work when he collapsed.
Medical crews responded, administered CPR, then transported him to Lehigh Valley Hospital Muhlenberg Campus where he was pronounced dead.
While reports indicate Vacarro was struck by lightning, an autopsy will be performed to determine the definitive cause of death.
