Richard D. Shusterman, MD, FACP, FCCP

He completed an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, where he also served as the Chief Resident of Internal Medicine. Dr. Shusterman completed a fellowship in Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care at Thomas Jefferson University. He received an Outstanding Teaching Award from Thomas Jefferson University and a Medicine Department Award from Medical College of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Shusterman is a diplomate of both the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, and Sleep Disorders Medicine. Dr. Shusterman is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Chest Physicians. He is member of many professional societies including the American Thoracic Society, the Pennsylvania Thoracic Society, and the Philadelphia Laennec Society for Pulmonary Medicine. Dr. Shusterman is an elected member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and has served as the principal investigator for numerous clinical trials.

Dr. Shusterman is in practice as a pulmonologist at the Institute for Respiratory and Sleep Medicine, with offices in Langhorne, Bristol, and Philadelphia, PA.
