Authorities in New Jersey have arrested a man they say tried to sell undercover officers high-powered weapons outside a Glassboro bowling alley. State Police Sgt. Stephen Jones said authorities were searching the Glassboro home of 50-year-old Horace Dixon Jr. Thursday night. Weapons and other items have been removed.

Dixon was arrested in the bowling alley parking lot earlier in the day. Police say he rammed an undercover police car as he tried to escape.

He faces numerous weapons charges, including allegations he sold an assault weapon to an undercover trooper. Bail has not been set, and it was not known if he had retained a lawyer

Jones says the sting was part of a monthslong weapons trafficking investigation.
