The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities tell Action News the victim has been identified as 29-year-old Richard Esslinger from Drexel Hill.
The motorcycle was traveling north on Route 1 in the right lane when the accident occurred. According to a witness' account, a vehicle changed lanes from left to right in front of the motorcycle and Esslinger lost control and crashed.
State Police are looking for the vehicle said to be a dark colored or black sedan, possibly a Honda Accord.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
