To be vested in the state pension plan, New Jersey officials need to work for the state continuously for at least 10 years. Those hired before 2008 need to make only $1,500 per year.
Appointees include former Education Commissioner Lucille Davy to the state Board of Pharmacy, departing Health Commissioner Heather Howard to the Board of Medical Examiners and former Labor Commissioner David Socolow to the Board of Marriage and Family Therapy Examiners.
Corzine left office Tuesday.
