Gov. lifting travel ban on Del. roads

DOVER, Del. - February 6, 2010

State officials say they're lifting the ban at 8 p.m. Saturday to allow critical commercial activity and travel on major routes as they become passable. It will also allow people without electricity to seek shelter if they can.

The intensity of the snowfall has limited snowplowing to major highway routes and officials are still urging people to stay off the roads. Some local restrictions are still in effect.
