Have you seen Jason Vu?

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA - February 12, 2010 14-year-old Jason Vu has been missing since Christmas Eve. His family noticed him gone when his father called him for pizza at about 11:00 that morning.

"He call Jason go to eat and we find out he not home," said his mother Kim Le.

They figured he left the house on the 2200 block of South 23rd Street in South Philadelphia sometime between 9 and 11 a-m. With no history of running away, his mother called police that evening when Jason still hadn't returned home.

"No he never talk about it he really good boy whatever I tell him he do."

Jason's family says none of his friends can shed any light on his sudden departure. Even odder, they say, he left behind his prescription glasses, cell phone and wallet. His mother fears Jason met someone online and left to meet that person.

"I think he thinking he go away with somebody for a couple days then he come back."

In the month prior to his disappearance Kim says Jason's behavior began changing. He refused to eat meat claiming it was poisonous, he stopped going to church and he lost all interest in school claiming quote "We're all doing to die anyway".

Kim just wants to know her son is okay.

"Jason if you see me please will you please come home or call me and let me know you okay."

There is a $10,000 reward for anyone with information on Jason's whereabouts.
