Police say David Bowens fatally shot 40-year-old Linda Ellison inside a home in the 1100 block of Overington around 8:15 last night.
He allegedly called a coworker shortly afterward to say he shot Ellison because he suspected her of cheating on him.
That coworker called 9-1-1
When police arrived at the home, they took Bowens into custody. Ellison suffered a gunshot wound to the chest and was pronounced dead at the scene.
