Crews were called out around 1:20 a.m. to the Madison at Willowyck apartment complex in the 800 building. Upon arrival, firefighters found flames shooting from the second floor of the apartment complex and quickly went to work battling the blaze.
Firefighters were able bring the fire under control in just under one hour.
No injuries were reported.
A total of 4 apartments were damaged in the fire.
The Red Cross has sheltered six people, while others are affected are staying with relatives.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
