In the upscale Minneapolis suburb of Edina, that acronym means Bring Your Own Bag.

Or, to be more accurate, it's BYOB - for BM.

In other words, residents of Edina are now required to bring their own bags to clean up after their dogs.

The Star Tribune reports people have been stealing the city-provided poop-picker-uppers.

The head of the parks department says workers would fill the dispensers in the morning - and find the entire supply wiped out by noon.

The city estimates it costs $12,000 a year to keep the dispensers full - but that cost is too high, now that some residents are getting a little light-fingered with the freebies.
