Alaska murder fugitive caught near Reading

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - May 17, 2010

Pennsylvania State Police spokeswoman Lt. Myra Taylor confirmed Monday that Adolfo C. Arias, 36, was arrested last week outside a restaurant in Spring Township, Berks County.

He had been wanted on an outstanding warrant for more than 13 years.

Anchorage Police Department spokeswoman Anita Shell says Arias was involved in a dispute with another man and is suspected of waiting in ambush for him in east Anchorage.

Shell says Arias is suspected of shooting the victim five times as the man walked from his vehicle to his home.

Arias remains jailed at Berks County Prison.
