The ranger had been assigned to the area as part of the recovery operation resulting from a suspected boating accident.
Bucks County Chief Ranger Steve Long tells Action News he believes the unidentified man is the missing person law enforcement and rescue officials have been searching for since Tuesday night, although he emphasizes no official ID has been made.
The Bucks County Coroner's office will now lead the investigation.
