Police say 23-year-old Omaire Clark was arrested Thursday night. Officers tracked him down at a hotel in Elkton, Md., by tracing cell phone calls and text messages he sent to a 17-year-old girl.
On Tuesday night, police say Clark and the girl were arguing in front of a home on West 5th Street. The victim told the pair he was going to call police. Clark allegedly left the scene, returned with a large kitchen knife and stabbed the man.
The victim died at a hospital.
