St. Louis County police say the man has been taken to a hospital but his condition wasn't immediately available Wednesday evening.
Officers went to the man's home in Hawk Point on Wednesday afternoon. Hawk Point is about halfway between where Alisa Maier was taken from her front yard Monday night and the St. Louis suburb where she was found late Tuesday wandering around a car wash.
Police spokesman Rick Eckhard is stopping short of calling the man a suspect in the abduction and won't say why police wanted to speak to him. Eckhard says there could be other "persons of interest."
