Storm rips through part of Chester County

NEW LONDON TWP., Pa. - September 27, 2010 Action News cameras were along Route 896 near Saginaw Road shortly after 6:30 p.m. There residents pointed out several trees that were blown down or ripped apart.

One woman pointed out the family car that was parked in the driveway prior to the storm but came to rest in the back yard after. Even a road sign was uprooted and tossed about.

Most those we talked to describe the storm as sounding like a freight train rolling through.
