If your house is noisy, you get a sticker

BRISTOL, R.I. (AP) - October 6, 2010

Students from the University of Rhode Island and landlords are challenging a law that allows police to flag houses that host noisy parties.

The students contend it's unconstitutional and that the orange stickers unfairly stigmatize them.

A federal judge has already upheld the Narragansett law.

But a federal appeals court is set to hear arguments in the case today.
