Police say the shooting happened on Friday evening in Millsboro when 53-year-old David Bundick allegedly got into an argument with his wife. Bundick's stepson, 28-year-old Joshua Niblett, who lives at the house, then allegedly armed himself with gun. Police say while his mother was escorting him out of the house, Niblett tripped and the weapon fired, striking Bundick in the stomach.
Bundick was flown to a hospital, treated and released. Bundick has been charged with two counts of strangulation, offensive touching and menacing. Niblett was charged with assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
