Bank robber sought in Wilmington

WILMINGTON - December 13, 2010

Police say a male suspect entered the bank located at 1706 Marsh Road, Wilmington at 1:30 p.m. Monday.

The suspect approached the teller and presented a demand note, and implied that he had a weapon.

The suspect obtained an undisclosed amount of money and fled the bank on foot towards Silverside Road.

The suspect is described as a black male, 30 to 40 years old, 5'8-5'10, and 160-170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black knit cap, gray hooded sweatshirt, grayish colored scarf, black puffy winter coat, dark colored jeans, and dark shoes.
