WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - January 7, 2011

Troopers have also obtained a warrant for a second suspect.

Twenty-eight-year-old Brian D. Shields of Newark was arrested Wednesday. He is charged with robbery, assault and other offenses and is being held on $102,000 cash bail.

Detectives have obtained warrants for 25-year-old Andrew Bingham II of New Castle charging him in the robbery. Troopers say he is being held in Pennsylvania on unrelated charges.

Troopers say on Oct. 31, two men walked into the Wawa store in Wilmington showing handguns, demanding money from the clerk. The 68-year-old clerk was shot as he walked to the counter. The clerk was treated and released at a local hospital.
