Medics: Dad crashes into ambulance carrying girl

HUNLOCK CREEK, Pa. - January 10, 2011

Hunlock Creek Volunteer Ambulance members say the unidentified man crashed nearly head-on into the ambulance Friday night after his 4-year-old daughter suffered a seizure in Luzerne County.

Chief Jerry Price tells WNEP-TV that the girl wasn't hurt in the crash, but he father and a passenger in his car as long with the ambulance driver and an emergency medical technician had to be taken to a hospital.

Emergency officials say the ambulance driver and EMT were released from the hospital.

The condition of the girl, her father and his passenger were not immediately available.
