Police were called to 15th and Chestnut streets shortly after 6:00 p.m. Thursday.
Police believe the teenage male victim was shot around the corner, but managed to walk to 15th and Chestnut.
The victim was shot in the upper thigh.
He was transported to Hahnemann Hospital for treatment. He was last reported to be in stable condition.
Police say they do have a person of interest, but there have been no arrests so far.
There is no word on what prompted the shooting.
