Flames broke out around 11:45 p.m. on the 200 block of N. Hobart Street.
When firefighters arrived, heavy fire was showing in the home.
Crews were able to get the fire under control within 20 minutes.
The victim suffered smoke inhalation and was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
No word yet on what sparked the fire.
