Police were called to the 2000 block of Bridge Street for a report of a shooting around 2:00 p.m.
When officers arrived they found a man on the street suffering from a gunshot wound to the arm and neck.
A woman was also found shot inside a nearby home.
Both were taken to the hospital and were last reported to be in stable condition.
Police are investigating with no word yet on what led to the gunfire or who pulled the trigger.
