The shooting happened around 11:50 p.m. on the 5600 block of Malcolm Street as the two victims sat in a car.
Police and medics arrived to find both males shot multiple times, one of them, said to be 21-years-old, had sustained a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another man was shot twice in the neck and taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and is in critical condition.
The gunman has not been caught.
No word yet what led to the shooting.
