Montgomery Mall hosts Moms Night Out

NORTH WALES, Pa. - May 2, 2011

Montgomery Mall Manager John Ferreira explains, "We're going to kick off the event with a fashion show. We're going to have several of our retailers are participating with prizes and gifts and discounts on purchases.We're going to have some free food donated by some of our restaurants. TGIFridays, Bertucci's, Starbucks, Chik-Fil-A, will all donate some of their items and some of our retailers will have giveaways for Mom."

Among the offers, Yankee Candle will be holding scent-mixing classes, Gertrude Hawk Chocolates and Auntie Anne's pretzels will be giving away edible treats, the Body Shop will be providing free mini-facials and customers who buy Sleep Number beds will get free pillows.

And all moms who come out to shop will get a free tote bag -- full of goodies like stress balls, perfume and body cream samples and more.

In addition to getting gifts and deals, Moms will also have an opportunity to help out some our area's neediest children, by donating items to Cradles to Crayons, an organization that collects and distributes items including toys, school supplies and clothing to children in emergency situations.

Right now, the organization is in especially in need of new or gently used pants for boys ages 8 to 12.

Michal Smith of Cradles to Crayons explains, "We also need new socks and new underwear and pretty much any item that a child between the ages of 0 and 12 might need in order to go to school and be able to live their life in comfort."
