Twenty-year-old Jesse Demyan was arrested Monday. The homeowner told police he found Demyan inside the house in Beach Haven West, near Long Beach Island. Demyan has been charged with burglary.
The Asbury Park Press reports that Demyan is a suspect in a series of recent burglaries in the Beach Haven West section of Stafford Township.
He's being held at the Ocean County Jail on $25,000 bail. It was not known if he had retained a lawyer.
