Twenty-year-old Darryl Pierre of Merchantville was the second person to plead guilty to the 2010 slayings of Muriah Huff and Michael Hawkins.
Pierre pleaded guilty earlier this year to two counts of manslaughter.
Eight others are charged with beating and killing the couple, who were found partially buried in the yard of the home.
Pierre's sentencing was dramatic, as he tried to withdraw his plea. Pierre said he believed he faced only a 20-year sentence.
A judge did not let him back out and called the crime "depraved."
