Lots of people have told me via social networking sites, and in person, that the whole idea of parents not having as much of an impact on who their children become is hogwash.
Now comes Betsey Stevenson of Cato Unbound with a counterpoint essay. She takes on Caplan's claims that parents should have more children because it is so easy to raise them.
