No need to tip the robot

NEW YORK (AP) - June 23, 2011

A new New York City hotel has a robot to handle the guests' luggage.

There's a 20-foot-tall robotic arm at the entrance to the Yotel that automatically places the suitcases in lockers for guests who want to wonder around the city.

And no, the robot doesn't expect a tip.

The rooms at the Yotel are tiny to keep them affordable.

In fact, they're so small the hotel calls them cabins.

But there's plenty of space to hangout in a lobby that includes four bars and a restaurant inspired by a sumo wrestling ring.
