It happened in the 6300 block of Summerdale Avenue in Northeast Philadelphia.
Officials say the men forced themselves in the home with a gun and tied up a 31-year old female inside.
A 50-year old male resident walked in on the robbery and was attacked himself. The victim was tied up, beaten, burned with an iron, and doused with bleach.
Officials say that the couple was discovered by neighbors around 3:00 a.m.
The female victim was transported to Einstein Hospital, and the male victim was taken to Temple Hospital. Both remain in stable condition.
No arrests have been made.
The incident is still under investigation.
