2 teens, 2 adults stabbed in North Phila.

NORTH PHILADELPHIA - September 1, 2011

Shortly after 3:45 p.m., police responded to a recreation center on the 800 block of West Diamond Street for reports of an 18-year-old girl suffering from a knife wound to the neck and face.

A 38-year-old woman was located nearby with a cut to the left arm.

Both were transported to Temple University Hospital for treatment.

The 18-year old is in critical condition; the woman is stable.

The investigation of the double stabbing led police to a nearby home along the 2000 block of North Franklin Street, however, no suspect turned up.

While at the hospital checking on the status of the victims, police discovered two additional victims were being treated for knife wounds, as well.

They were both transported by private vehicles.

Those additional victims are described as a 23-year-old woman stabbed three times in the head and a 16-year-old girl stabbed once in the right armpit.

Both are stable.

Police have not released the names of the victims.

The search for a suspect continues.
