Free shredding aimed at curbing ID theft in Del.
MILFORD, Del. (AP) - October 8, 2011
The first fall shredding event takes place Saturday from 9 a.m.
to 1 p.m. in Milford in the parking lot of the Peebles department
store. Delaware residents can bring up to three file-sized boxes to
be shredded.
Other events are planned in Dover, Glasgow and Wilmington for
later in October and November.
The Attorney General's Office says that 31,000 pounds of
documents were destroyed during shredding events sponsored by the
office in the spring.
