Quincy Cannon, 36, of the 2600 block of West Dauphin Street in Philadelphia, was arrested late Monday night at Parx Casino in Bensalem.
Police say it was around 10:15 p.m. when a table games dealer saw Cannon sit at a table and start playing a card game. Thinking that the man matched the description of a suspect in the home invasion robbery, he contacted security who, in turn, called Bensalem police. Officers set up surveillance and watched as Cannon left the casino. However, police say, Cannon saw the officers and ran back into the casino. Police chased him and eventually had to use a Taser on him to get him to stop. Once in custody, police say Cannon had a small amount of jewelry on him that was identified as belonging to the 83-year-old victim. Cannon was arraigned and sent to prison on $5 million cash bail. The robbery happened back on Saturday. Police say Cannon entered the home and pulled a knife on the victim, tied her up, and threatened to kill her if she did not give him money. The woman faked a heart attack, so Cannon allegedly checked her pulse, grabbed the victim's debit card and ran out of the house.Police: Home invasion suspect nabbed at casino
