Maybe the train bandits were hungry

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (AP) - November 2, 2011

A Union Pacific Railroad spokesman says crooks have stolen 20 boxes of frozen pigs feet from a freight train.

The entire haul is only worth about 200 bucks.

The train had made an emergency stop in a Southern California desert, about 90 miles northwest of Los Angeles.

Railroad spokesman Aaron Hunt tells the Victorville Daily Press officials are investigating the reason for that unscheduled stop.
