Lawyers whittle jury pool in NJ webcam spy case

NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. - February 23, 2012

Thursday's court session marked the fourth day of jury selection for the trial of Dharun Ravi.

The 19-year-old is charged with invasion of privacy, bias intimidation and evidence and witness tampering.

Ravi's roommate, Tyler Clementi, killed himself in September 2010, days after the alleged spying. That touched off national conversations about the bullying of young gays and cyberbullying.

By mid-morning during Thursday's questioning of prospective jurors, the jury pool was down to 72.

But it's not clear when 16 jurors, including four alternates, will be chosen to hear the case.
