Grand jury indicts man in Atlanta rapper's killing
Slim Dunkin, a rapper whose real name was Mario Hamilton, was shot to death on the evening of December 16, 2011 at a music studio in Atlanta, Georgia, where he was due to record an album, according to the Associated Press. Slim Dunkin was fatally shot in the chest after getting into an argument. At press time, police had yet to identify the shooter. Slim Dunkin had recorded several songs with rapper Waka Flocka Flame. According to MTV, he had also recently released a 20-track mix tape which featured Gucci Mane, Roscoe Dash and Pastor Troy.
