It happened on a number of streets including the 600 block of Delancy Place, the 100 block of Pennsylvania and Delaware avenues, and the 300 block of New York Avenue.
In the overnight hours between Saturday and Sunday authorities say over 10 vehicles were vandalized.
The sidewall of the tires were slashed with a sharp instrument, leaving them beyond repair.
At least nine residents reported damage to their cars.
