It happened on February 11, 2012 at 25th and Master Streets in North Philadelphia.
Police say at 5:12 p.m. a 27-year-old man was walking across the street after leaving a corner store, when a gunman walked up to him and opened fire.
The victim was struck twice in the chest. The suspect fled the scene.
Surveillance video released Thursday shows the suspect loitering near the corner store in the minutes leading up to the shooting. It also shows the moment the suspect opened fire.
Detectives are looking for an African American man, 18-30 years old, with a thin build, a beard and slight mustache. He was wearing tan pants and green hooded sweatshirt at the time of the shooting.
