NJ man accused of robbing same bank twice

TRENTON, N.J. - April 27, 2012

Prosecutors say Jeffrey Garrett first robbed the Chase Bank in Hamilton on Nov. 10, 2010.

Authorities say the 34-year-old Trenton resident shot a man during a carjacking on Aug. 23, 2011 before again robbing the bank and wounding a teller.

Prosecutors say Garrett drove the stolen car with the wounded man in the trunk to the Moorestown Mall before abandoning the vehicle.

Garrett was arrested in Florida nearly two months later.

Both victims survived.
