Action News was in East Mount Airy Thursday evening, as authorities arrested 63-year-old Chandrakant Parekh of Huntingdon Valley, Pa. at his office in the 6500 block of Germantown Avenue.
The Pennsylvania Attorney General has charged Parekh with reckless endangerment for allegedly treating a patient while under the influence of crack cocaine.
Parekh was also charged with illegally selling prescription drugs, including Percocet and Oxycodone, as well as blank prescription forms, out of his office.
The charges resulted from an undercover investigation that began in April.
