It happened at the Roger Gardens Apartments on the 500 block of Hoffman Street around 11:40 Saturday evening.
Police received a report of a man shot inside one of the buildings. Officers arrived to find a man in his 30s - shot multiple times.
The victim was taken to Helene Fuld Medical Center where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
The shooting remains under investigation and no further information has been released.
