The state's Department of General Services said last week it would issue modified badges to employees planning to use them to vote in the November election. The Patriot-News of Harrisburg (http://bit.ly/NeDBen ) reports 39 employees had gotten modified badges by Monday.
State officials say most state workers will have another type of identification that meets the new law's requirements.
